Genevieve & I recently went on vacation for a couple days in Oregon. We checked out the University in Eugene, and then spent a couple of days wandering around the bay and beach.
Here is a picture of the area where we were hanging out in Coos Bay.
Here's Genvieve on the same expedition, holding the boots I would not wear.
Mr. Robot SparkplugHead is not the only fossil in Coos Bay.
Coos Bay was really nice, and we liked it there. It is kind of hard to get to. The drive home to Corona 101-46-5-210-57-71-91 (with rain on the stupid 210) took us fifteen and one-half hours. Getting there on the 91-71-57-210-5 then the 20 that cuts across by Clear Lake and then the 101 took a lot longer and used up a ton more gas and was done over two days. But we did get to see a lot of trees. Enough trees we don't need to see them again.
It should be noted, if you are driving in Northern California, that people enter the freeway without yielding to freeway traffic. I have no idea why. So if you are driving there, look out for that.
